Alenquer, between the Sea and the Tagus river
ALENQUER RUSTIC CAMPING
We are in Lisbon country side region, full of history, rich in monuments, and natural landscapes around the Montejunto mountain, at the crossroads of pilgrimage routes.
The Camping Park is located on the wine route which included the cities of Alenquer and Torres Vedras in the European distinction of Wine Capital, and is the epicenter of the intersection of highways and ancestral routes between North and South, and the East and West of Portugal.
A rural environment close to the capital Lisbon
It is on the route to Camino de Santiago de Compostela, the Templars, the Pilgrimage of Espírito Santo (Holy Spirit), and Fátima and the Malaposta. Alenquer was the main castle of portuguese Queens, a meeting point for Dom Sebastião’s troops who demanded Alcácer Quibir, birthplace of navigator Pero de Alenquer and fatherland of Damião de Goes.
Motorhomes
Since 2007, Alenquer has a service area for motorhomes on a special platform and a suitable ASA, with electricity slips, and tap water with sewer, inaugurated by Alenquer Mayor and the Portuguese Motorhomers Clube.
Bungalows
There are four functional bungalows by French TRIGANO /GITOTEL, overlooking the vineyards, bungalows with a balcony, with private toilets and an equipped kitchenette.
Camping
The layout of the land terraces allows platforms always with wide views where you can pitch up tents, roof tents, and caravans, or even your van or motorhome.
